A new Kryptonian joins the Dimensions party.
Warner Bros. has revealed today that Supergirl will be coming to Lego Dimensions as a pack-in minifigure character — but her availability will be limited.
Starting this September for a limited time, a Supergirl mini-fig will be included as a bonus figure in the PlayStation 4 Lego Dimensions starter pack, which normally includes Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle.
Supergirl will be able to fly, shoot heat beams from her eyes, and will have X-ray vision. Kara Zor-El will also have the ability to transform into her Red Lantern form, allowing her to fire energy bolts and create Lantern energy constructs.
Supergirl will be available in the game’s “Hire-a-Hero” feature following her debut, which allows players without mini-figs to sample characters in exchange for collected studs. Warner Bros. did not announce any other future availability for the Supergirl mini-fig outside of the starter pack. The character was leaked earlier this year, alongside Green Arrow.
Lego Dimensions will kick off its second year of content beginning September 27, with new story, team, and level packs featuring Ghostbusters, Mission: Impossible, The A-Team, and more. Warner Bros. revealed more information about content packs coming later this year, including J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Sonic the Hedgehog, at San Diego Comic-Con.
At E3, IGN also had a chance to go hands-on with the new multiplayer mode coming to Lego Dimensions in its second year.
Supergirl will also return to TV this fall, with the show making the move to The CW for its second season, where it will be part of a musical crossover with The Flash.
